Aloha and welcome to our new "Puu Heleakala Community Voices" monthly Newsletter. Hope you will visit often to find out about what's happening in our neighborhood. We can always use contributors. This is our new VOICE in the Community.

Bothered By NOISE ??? Don't feel helpless, you have options! For NOISE problems:

See the House Rules pertaining to NOISE (Section C, C-13,pg 10.) and let the Resident Manager know when you have a noise complaint, or fill out the Complaint form.

Call 911. Also, let the Resident Manager know you made a complaint to the police.

Hawaii Has Noise Laws. Call the Health Department Noise and Radiation Branch at 586-4700.

§11-46-4 Maximum permissible sound levels in dBA for Class A Residential

Daytime (7 a.m. to 10 p.m.) 55 dBA
Nighttime (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.) 45 dBA

The content will come from a variety of sources: Some I'll write myself, some will been written by our Staff, and some will been contributed by Community residents just like you.
